Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of Southern California
Job Description
We seek to hire a post-doctoral fellow to use novel optical techniques to study inner ear physiology. This research project will involve using custom-designed optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems to study mouse models of hearing and hearing loss. This position is available within the lab of John Oghalai (https://oghalailab.usc.edu/). We have a great multidisciplinary team, and we will teach you what you need to know to be successful. Our lab is part of a strong auditory research group within the Keck School of Medicine. Excellent core facilities and resources are available.
Job Requirements
A Ph.D. is required. Successful candidates will have conducted creative and original research in either neuroscience, biology, or engineering. Experience with programming in MATLAB or Python is preferred, but not required. Experience with animal research highly valued, but not necessary. Start date: flexible. Term: Up to 2 years.
